The reason why your psi is different then his is displacement. I always wondered why GM didn't boost the LE5. That is a nice engine.

You know, the brake pedal is really bad on my car, 2009, and all of the other 2009's on the lot are like this... and the 2008's are NOT like this... and they upgraded the intake manifold for 2009, so I bet once I install the SC my brake pedal gets better!

Well, yes it has a new manifold, which is where the extra HP came from. I will have to look at the part numbers for the master cylinder and booster.
