yeah its not as hard, just as long as you know what bolt goes where lol, and having al the parts in one place helps too

well i took the manifold apart and it was filthy, oil everywhere, the cores where flthy, but ill let the pics tell the story

^^^that from putting the paper inside where the cores where at

^^^^clean vs dirty

^^^thats the mess they made when they were just sitting on the rag while i was cleaning them one by one, this is before any water touched them

^^^all 4 of them cleaned with running water

this morning i took throttle body cleaner to them to get the rest of the gunk and oil out, those things were dirty as hell, now they are nice and clean and its time to clean the manifold off aswell, that'll be fun

they still needs a lot more paint that only 2 layers of paint, the snout needs to be paited on the bottom i only did the top, so allow it to dry and than flip it over and do the bottom once the top is dry, but so far looks nice and shiny

lol yeah i like shiny, just hate chrome, anythign chrome shiny i find disgusting, polished=nasty but we all have our own taste, if we all drove the same thing, it would get boring

well the LSJ belt just arrived earlier today; looking for other stuff right now, might have to cut back on using a aftermarket header/dp and go with stock lsj stuff to get things moving faster, we'll see how the week progresses

ok just bought some things

KnN intake( dayta )

stgII injectors w/harness and lsj throttle body( scott allen )

scott allens stuff shipped out asap, already have tracking on it, a+ seller...will update later, also tom@crateengine told me he couldnt get my parts, basically said to get them from gmparts, i guess he couldnt match the prices, i replied to see what th ebest he could do was, so waiting on that, might end up buying them from a local dealer, so i only need the alternator bracket really, the rest i can rig myself

off to go buy some of the bolts and **** i still need

ok im back from autozone, bought all the bolts except the ones i need to go to a bolt shop for, still need 5 of them, 2 for the intake manifold, and 3 for the alternator, but those are about 1-2 bucks each at that stores, so i need to find time to make the 30minute drive there lol...

ok so i tallied up what i have spent to date as of earlier today i have spent ~1239 down to the clamps and bolts i bought, only thing left is 2 more bolts, and a tune i got everything else i needed i nthe past few hrs, thank you css members that sold me stuff

^^^^car was off on that one

so after al that wiring, the led and button were wired wrong hahahahahah, but i managed to conceal it all good for when i go back and fix it, but the gauge itself work and works prerfect, i fucked u the wiring, so its always dimmed, i accidenlty forgot to grd a wire, so the gauge stays dim'd, so yeah ima go back later and grd it so it can be bright, aside from that, got the lsj header/dp installed and the wideband, all went well, blower silencer holes have been plugged, the blower has been clear coated...as soon as i sand the plugs out from the inside, ima re asemble the blower and its good to go

Ok update on stuff...I have a exhaust leak that's killing me...already bought the ******* washers to shut it up, the wideband is still dim'd I'll fix that when I have more time, oh and wot is around 12.5, and pe takes longer than 5 seconds on my car more like 10 >

-Blower is painted and clear coated(1 chip from something on the shelf dropping)
-inside if blower is clean, used brake cleaner, dirt/oil but up no fight( I plugged the bearing holes to keep them from getting harmed)
-blower silencer holes plugged w/quicksteel
-bypass valve was color matched(ultra silver)
-intake manifold is finally clean, once again the brake cleaner cleaned it up good

SOME PICS:

yeah i know that, it would only help but that means i have to drill my damn endplate and tap it, and just do extra work basically :p and im the type of person that wont spend 100 bucks to have someone else do something i can do myself...currently debating on the ZZP modular system running a 3.1" pulley, zoomer said that should bump me to 14psi instead of 9-10 on the stock...or i can get the OTTP MPS and prob be arounf 12-13 with a 3.2" hmmmmm

i ran 11.5 psi on a 3" FYI. larger displacement does some funny things.
And i would do the dual pass now, while you have everything disassembled. Saves having to remove the manifold again later down the road

oh hey i been meaning to PM, plug the nipple on the intake where u have a breather, that red breather, remove it, and plug the hole or connect your vavle cover nipple to it, your engine will suck in unmeter'd air from there, prob why u were running a bit lean back during the bash...
