uhm, i don't talk down to 2.2/2.4--they're still cobalts with ecotecs, all have awesome potential. 
I wouldn't mind having a 2.2 to turbo to all hell.

Sure would love to save up for a 455 though.

whats funny is that in the future the 2.2l will have more potential than the 2.0, not the 2.4 cause it has vvt and will also be able to turbo, or supercharge which if you notice with the same upgrades and equipment you 2.0l, 2.2l, and 2.4l which goes to show you which ones have more potential in the future.

i have a 2.4 ss, and i think 2.0's talk down is because yall have the family engine.....its in the sedans n ****.......in there eyes is no performance at all, but there just stuck up because mommy and daddy bought them a s/c

i dont flame the 2.2 or even the 2.4, i like em, it came off the same assembly line as mine, and i know for dam sure anyone with a 2.2 can get more power just adding a turbo then the 2.0, but anyways, hot girls in 2.2 FTW!!!!! especially in white

i enjoy driving my boosted 2.2, it made 212whp and 212wtq untuned on hahns stg2 kit @ 8psi. only other mod really would be my old exhaust setup is still on it bolted up to the 2.25'' down pipe; so its 2.25'' all the way back. at the track best time i got out of it was 14.2 and it bogged out on me 3 times in 4th gear.

its the same reason that everyone makes fun of the civics and imports b/c they are "slower", and "beneath" your car, they figure if ur car is slower then theres y bother moding it b/c its not an SS/NA or SS/SC. Most ppl on this forum are not that hateful to the 2.2's but you do come across the occational egotistical SS owner that thinks they are the super **** or whatever and its just something that we have to deal with being 2.2's. But wait for the turbo kits and SC kits for our cars and then we will just have to show 'em what our 2.2 are made of.
