quick question...do the 2.2's have knock sensors? ive got a interceptor plugged in set to display knock, my MAF is currently unplugged, and its pretty hot out these days....yet i have never gotten a single * knock retard.... do the 2.2's have the sensors?

it does, its located under the starter.
