rods are rated at 250bhp. They snapped at 283bhp under nitrous. Ive seen as high as 300whp on stock rods/pistons under boost. The question goes to you...how much of a safety margin do you want to leave?

Either way I'm pretty sure you could rig something like that up...
you'll have to buy the LSJ reservoir. theyre the exact same shape, but mirror images of each other. theres no way to mount the stock one on the other side.

Well, considering this in my DD, a decent amount - but I still want power. I'd say maybe 200 whp? So about 225 hp at the fly?

its whatever you want. I personally am around 260bhp, so 220whpish? but it all depends how hard you wanna push your car. Like i said, no one can make that choice for you

What will the Stage 2 pulley make as far as boost goes? What about the 2.8? 2.7?

3.0" made 11.5psi, 2.9" makes 13psi, so take a stab at 2.8" and 2.7"
stg 2 pulley is 3.05" fyi

u dont need that boost controller thingy, leave it out, just leave the bottom nipple open venting to atmosphere....the sensor ontop of the blower, u can leaveit there, but it wont plug into anything, the sensor on the intake manfold, take it out, and put ur MAP sensor in there, yo dont need the sensor you just took out, you need **** loads of 3/4" hose and 1/2" hose, you need a another coolant tank, ameks ure your TB harness has the same amount of pins as that throttle body, and than u still need to repin for that TB to fit...or else you might be stuck using your stock one, lemme see what else, you need 3 longer bolts for the alternator, you need to longer bolts for the intake manifold, you need of course a h/e, a intake manifold gasket for the head...thats it, there is other things, but im too lazy to really try and remember what all we ended up needed, i mentioned all theones that would of screwed u over if you didnt have the rest is self explanitory

very good post. Im not sure what you used 1/2" hose for tho...all mine is 3/4". The bolts you need for the alternator are M8 1.25 threading and i think either 120mm or 130mm long. (measure the stock ones and add 20-25mm)

boost levels should be different for 2.2's due to the extra displacement...tho those numbers sound ike theycould be 2.2 numbers too..lol

Numbers shouldn't differ since boost is measured before the engine .

Looks like I should stick with a Stage 2 pulley to be safe?
