Ahh, I thought that was just part of the dog, haha.

Yeah, the porting should help.

I'm throwing around the idea of plugging the silencer holes...

i was thinking about doing it but then i planned to just put it on the car and see how it sounded first and then do it later if i still wanted but we see how well that went lol

Looks like I should stick with a Stage 2 pulley to be safe?
numbers should differ because the larger engine will take in more CFMs per stroke than the LSJ, leaving less left in the manifold, so manifold pressures will be lower.

easy explanation. Bolt up an M62 to a LS2 with a 2.5" pulley...you wont see much boost

cuz when you put the new tensioner on with the bracket it bolts on the same as the alternator so you would need the bolts to be longer so they can tighten the tensioner bracket and alternator together.

Does anybody know what if any H/Es will fit behind the stock front bumper?

I really do want to keep a low profile...

you dont need one..no. Stock SS's dont have them...but it seems everyone who upgrades immediately buys one to run Opt. B. I would rather go with the hatrickstu mod or OTTP's coolant reservoir (effectively the same thing)

the intercooler/HE system for the supercharger does NOT share coolant with the engine. they are two independently plumbed and operated units. engine coolant temp is near 180* whereas intercooler coolant temps are much closer to 100* and below (depending on ambient temperature and how much you're getting on the gas

Hmm, don't see that thing on GMPartsDirect...

So I need that.

Now just to make sure: The ONLY gaskets I need are as follows: TB to SC, SC to IM, IM to CH, right?

I also might have to roll with the stock H/E for the time being too.

I think I'm going to go with a stock heat exchanger at the beginning, unless I can find a heat exchanger that for sure fits under the stock bumper. A cobra H/E should fit, but I'd have to fab **** up, and I don't know if I'll be able to do that and do the swap in the weekend.

It's always something I can add later...
