Alright, my car is now at 44,500 miles.

I think it's time to flush the coolant and have it replaced, along with the transmission fluid. Also the Fuel filter hasn't been replaced yet, so I might as well do that too. To top it all off, I'm getting the oil changed since it's time.

I know a guy who owns a speed shop that said he'll do it all for $30 bucks, what a steal!

I just need to supply him with the fluids and materials.

So if anyone has had the trans fluid replaced in their AUTO trans, what did you use, and did it effect the "feel" of the transmission at all?

Also, what's the best **** to put in for coolant?

 

dexcool ios realistically the best thing since your running pretty much stock except for your bolt ons but nothing major that needs special attention. I have Royal Purple engine oil and transmision fluid and it definitely felt a little smoother after I put it in. i noticed, form my dashhawk that it also ran cooler.

 

How much did the RP tranny fluid run ya?

 

Bought it on ebay a while back. I realy don't remember. The tranny doesn't take a huge amount so I wouldn't say its too much.

like what wieght? No I had started or asked in a thread somewhere in here and thats where I found how many quartz I needed too.
