Then put a highflow or catless downpipe you will lose some more. No back pressure. So thats the op's issue. from the sounds of it.

Well I don't have a stock lsj dp to put in now... well I do but the rear o2 bung is stripped out. But like stated before even when that was in I only made 11 psi. Now I just talked to vince and he said the only thing he can think of is I have a leak when in boost but not vac. And the only thing that rings a bell that could or would do that is my map sensor in the manifold. And I'm not saying I don't believe you cooper I just and getting fusterated and am almost certain something isn't right. (Cuz like you said with the stock downpipe I didn't make any more boost) now I can throw my stock 2.2 down pipe on and see what happens. And yes I did a first run data log he re tuned but never got time to do another data log and send that back. Trying to set that up with the local that tuned me

Are you throwing any more codes?

Other than that I have no clue.

Nope no codes. When I replaced all the gaskets the crazy idel went away the codes went away and it makes more vac. But for instance. Would I make more power with my less restrictive pipe and less boost or a more restrictive pipe making higher boost? (Saying that's my issue and I will put the stocker little thing on to test it)

the less restrictive your exhaust is, the less boost you will make bc you will be taking be taking in more due to more of it being expelled, the more restrictive the exhaust is, the more boost you will make...so your exhaust could make up for a 2-4psi difference depending on its size, but a tune will not affect our boost, as our electrical system doesnt control out boost, its all mechanical for us, now a lsj has a boost solenoid so its different for them...but we dont have it, so yeah, i agree with vince, tune wouldnt cause it...if it makes a difference, im @14psi right now with my 2.8, now thats its summer i see lower boost than in the winter...i normaly get 16-18 depending on gear and rpm

Def not heat being an issue. I am making about the same temps as you with a zzp stage 2 h/e. I just upgraded to a ss/tc exhaust and once my new belt comes in I will let you know how I made for boost. I was at pretty much 15psi even.

If you're not sure if it is the MAP sensor then spray carb cleaner around the map sensor when it is running and you'll see if it is leaking or not.

I wouldn't be concerned about the boost as much as I would be the power. Boost does build in the manifold so if your map sensor is leaking then that could be a problem.

Spray carb cleaner around the intake manifold and all too. Is the intake manifold torqued... to what?
