Radiator Swap
I want to get a better radiator for my cobalt...the only company that I can find that makes an OEM-fitted replacement is Silla....anyone know anything about them?

I don't think there are really any problems with the stock radiator. Maybe if you want to get a chromed one or something, but cooling wise I think the stock one works just fine.

I understand that....Chromed would be nice, however I live in Las Vegas, where it is like 80 or 85 at night and 120+ on the freeway (sometimes stop and go traffic), the stock one did ok for me last year, but on the roads my fan would kick on for like a minute(get the temp down from 219 to 187) and then click off for about 10 or 15 seconds before my coolant temperature would return to 219 and restart the circle. its just excessively hot here is all...better radiator would be nice

the stock radiator is gonna do just about...actually...the same job and amount of work as like any after market one. The only reason why after market companies make thing of that nature is o if you were to crash and beak yours then ou wouldnt have to pay out the ass through the manufacterer to get a new one.

they have a thread on here somewhere, but seriously i would check it out..

problem with that is it will set a code, P0128
An engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor monitors the temperature of the coolant. This input is used by the engine control module (ECM) for engine control and as an enabling criteria for some diagnostics.
The air flow coming into the engine is accumulated and used to determine if the vehicle has been driven within the conditions that would allow the engine coolant to heat up normally to the thermostat regulating temperature. If the coolant temperature does not increase normally or does not reach the regulating temperature of the thermostat, the diagnostics that use ECT as enabling criteria may not run when expected.
This DTC will only run once per ignition cycle within the enabling conditions. If the ECM detects the calibrated amount of air flow, vehicle speed and distance, and engine run time have been met, and the ECT has not met the minimum thermostat regulating temperature, DTC P0128 sets
