running s/c without h/e hooked up

is it possible to run a supercharger with the endplate not connected to anything? i mean just to get the car running, not boosting or anything.

I personally wouldn't. I mean at that point it would only be full of air and air heats up faster then coolant. You would probably run incredibly hot. Just look for a used one on here or buy one from one of the vendors. OTTP sells a new one for under $200. Eaton's put off a lot of heat and I wouldn't want to risk running one without having a way to cool it down.

oh i already have the plumbing and h/e with the pump all installed. im just waiting on a tank and some hose fittings to install tomorrow and was just seeing if moving it into the driveway was possible without going kaboom. The other issue is the fact that im running incredibly too lean (16-18!!!) so im def not gonna drive it anywhere.

Oh ok. I thought you meant like just the manifold with a blower on top and nothing hooked into it at all. Haha. And yeah just moving it around a little would be fine. I just wouldn't plan on driving it anywhere til it's all hooked up and running.

That could be a long an arduous road. I've flashed the first and then two updated tunes and am still not running 100% right. And Wednesday will be two weeks since I initially started the tuning with Vince.
