RWD swap

yes I know this is dumb when I can just buy a RWD car but I just want to be a little different My mom is scraping her van with a 3400v6 thats still good. I am thinking if I should just keep building the 2.2 or swap the 3400. Also I'm jw if anyone has made a Cobalt RWD Cobalt and J-bodies are similer in some ways je if any did made a cobalt RWD did they swap it to v6 and take back end out of a z28 or take back end out of sky and keep it ecotec. I'd really like to make a RWD ecotec J body if can be done

1) the amount of time and money and knowledge it would take is immense.

2) we have delta chassis not j bodies lol

3) there is a member who has been working on it for many years now and one who is currently working on it I will find a link

Jason whitefield has a 8-9 second 2.2. The l61 is proven but be aware its going to cost a lot to make big power on them dont expect it cheap

Either way....you will have to do a lot of fabrication as you see he is doing....making these cars rwd isnt cheap. Neither is doing a motor swap...

waste of time imho.. if you wanna go for it though go for it but be aware of how much money time and fabrication is going to be involved into a setup and honestly i wouldnt do it with a 3400...... i would use a inline 4 or v8

For what it will cost to do it somewhat do right, you could buy a new Mustang GT or Camaro SS and still have money left over
