can someone please tell me where my throttle positon sensor (TPS) on my 2005 chevy cobalt ls (2.2l) thak you!

the Sensor is behind the plastic top plate of your Throttle body. Don't open it up unless you know what you are doing. Unless you really wanna blow 400 dollars in the interest of curiosity. The parts that make the TPS sensor are VERY Delicate and can break easily.

But there should be three wires coming out of it, one power/signal/ground. If you give me a couple days I can pull it up on alldata for you so you dont splice into the wrong one.

no need to look it up.. its the purple wire comin out of the TB.

Correct sir. Purple is usually the color of a signal wire lol.

Hence the reasoning behind the word "usually"....being that the TPS Sensor signal wire is purple, and the signal wire from the 02 sensor is purple, (of course with different variations of said color such as white striped, red striped, etc) one can conclude that if you are looking for a signal wire from a sensor, it's probably purple.
