Yeah I've been looking at seeing if a LNF manifold will work or the saab 9-3, or the new buick regal or cruze manifolds etc.
I've only seen 3 aftermarket ones Hahn Racecraft - Automotive Turbosystems
RDFABS - Stainless aned Performance Specialists
Vulcan Turbo, LLC -- Welcome --

the saab manifold will work on our motors. and the TB is still in the stock location. probably best bang for your buck.

*crosses vulcan off the list*
Hmm I'm gonna have to look into the saab one, especially if it doesn't require customizing anything.

Only thing is it touches the coolant hose. other that that it looks great, its just a pain to install with no fittings or hardware. Made atleast 8-10 trips to the store before i finaly was happy with it.

What things did people have wrong besides powdercoat?

we need a how to on the pump swap. if these monkeys can't get the fuel tank off without a how to then they shouldn't be trying to remove it anyway......j/k but it is super easy.

HEY!
I've never attempted it so I wouldn't know, but I like to be prepared and know what I'm doing before I start doing it. That's pretty much how I've gotten by the last 3 years lol

how to drop a fuel tank on cobalt

1. put vehicle on jack stands or lift rear of vehicle via ramps like i did
2. drop cat back so exhaust sits on rear beam unsupported by hangers
3. drop heat shield to fuel tank by removing 4 bolts and have a friend under to help when the tank comes down
4. using flat head screwdriver loosen up clamp that connects the tank to the hose
5. take off all connecting fuel lines and wires that goes to the tank
6. remove tank from under neath the car and locate the fuel pump and lift up on the tabs that keep the fuel pump secured down by using a flat head screwdriver, when tabs are up twist and carefully remove pump from tank

before doing all this remove to disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve fuel pressure in the tank

and? how hard was it to wire up? I'll probably need one of these if i wanna get 80s and e85
Also on the aftermarket intake manifolds, do they make one where the throttle body is on the other side so I can still use my zzp intercooler?
