What do you guys think?

So I bought an RL intake for my blower swap and I noticed it has a retarded MAF housing and mine is like the Cobalts. Do you guys think I'd have any problems with a Cobalt MAF housing and a cone filter in place of the stock airbox?

Actualy ithink its our cars that are retarded, i belive most other cars have that setup. But i don't think it will work with our style maf. Before i got an intake i went to pepboys and got that getto build your own intake stuff, and it wouldn't seal right. You'll get a code for sure, pluss it'll probly run bad.

You should be fine with a cobalt maf housing. Good luck on the build ninja!

So the RL is the only one with the rectangle MAF like the cobalt?

Lol yes I ruined it...sort of. Ion forums guys don't know...its not like it matters now anyways because everyone and their mom has an m62 on order.

That spectre maf adapter fit the stock intake piping? I will look into it...

And RL have a square MAF but I'm not sure what the bottom of the sensor looks like...all I know is there is no way for me to mount my MAF to that airbox.

NP, and just match up your MAF with the adapter.
