rcarr0327 your tb has a 6 pin connector and you already have 2.4 intake manifold, get a 2008 2.4l Le5 tb thats all you need! just installed mine today love it runs with no codes!!!!

yeah but it has to be 2008 for some retarted reason gm only made that tb for one year then they changed it to what it is now, 2005-2007 is a 8pin for the LE5

Just installed my 2.4 throttle body, have AFR gauge, without a tune it runs normal to the stock TB, and does have noticeable gains. well worth the money for me. now just need to save up for a bloody exhaust.

i recommend the LSJ...

BUT the 2.4 TB would be easier if you found the correct # of pins

I am a firm believer in the only REAL difference in LE5 and LAP power ratings is everything gm did to de-tune the 2.2. If cams and TB were the same im sure they would be almost the same in power output. I mean who needs a TB thats almost 3/8 bigger for .2 of a liter more displacement?

Going from 2.2 to 2.4 is only a couple mm. But the lsj is a huge upgrade

Would the 6 pin 2.4 tb from an 07 essentially bolt on without rewire? Obviously I'd need a tune

I just noticed this for quite sometime. After I let off the gas or stop b4 shift to P, the rpm would stick at about 2k for a sec before lower to idle. I think the 2.4 tb has something to do with it. I also have a 2.5 catted dp and 2.5 custom exhaust. Any thoughts?

I haven't read through the whole thread so I'm not sure if it was already said but:

OP- Raise your limiter, if you have full bolt-ons I'm positive you will continue to make power up top. Ask me how I know.
