Their service information also states you need to do a relearn or reflash when you swap gauge clusters but thats wrong.

Now Im not familar with the LAP's but any other cobalt if you swap out the tb a tune is recommended but it wont go into limp mode. Now if the difference between the LAP and LE5 tb isnt much then its a small difference which the computer is taking account for. But its far from optimal.

I will be swapping to an LSJ soon myself and while I will be retuning to match the tb. People have done it before without a retune.
But you guys are acting like he swapped from 62mm to 102mm.

I have the 09 LAP engine also... I was gonna change the TB when I built my turbo setup and I found out from GM that my TB was the same as the 2.4... the 2.2L TB is only on the L61.. The LAP got the LE5 TB.
