Engine swap?!?!?

If u have a 2.2 cant u swap it out with a 2.4?

Yes, but it's not that simple. All the wiring, sensors, and tuning will need to be modified.

well i would wanna get te s/c 2.4 swap i wanna try to get the cumputer and all the stuff from the 2.4 and swap it over or just get a supercharger for a 2.2

Yes, its that simple. You just need a tune. LAP and LE5 are almost identical.

I think its even possible to just swap blocks. But might be easier to do whole engine instead of dealing with timing stuff.

so i could just keep the 2.2 and switch to a 2.4 block? will 2.2 parts like the 2.2 s/c still bolt up to that

There is now 2.2 S/C. the supercharger is from the 2.0 on the LSJ

would it be cheaper to find a used kit or jsut buy it new?

what are your thoughts on this too will it bolt up to my stock exhuast for now which is either a 1.5 or a 1.75" ZZPerformance - 2.5 inch Stainless Cobalt/Ion Downpipe #ZZ-E25DP i have a bad mab header ima put on it

You can piece the kit for cheaper but if you don't know too much then get the kit

id say go with the kit less head ache, seeing a fair amout of issues pieced together kits and make sure you get a good tune, and supporting mods is a no brainer ie. exhaust, clutch
