Angry Holy cow crap.

SUP! So i just got done instaling the K@N typhoon intake on my cobalt and holy crap! for a part thats made to fit out of the box it took me a good hour to get it to work..

anyone els have this intake?

i had to take off the heat shield it came with to get it to work XD but none the less its on and works.

Had one on my car for about a year and a half. Took awhile to assemble it the first time but actually putting it on the car, I could do that in under a minute.

Nope.. wront work with it on XD LOL i have had cars before without one and did fine... come to think of it most cars i see with intakes just have the pipe and filter.

I seen plenty people put it on +heatshield, anything on the engine in the way of putting it on? 68nova200 is right, pics would help and we could help.

Well it's pretty much useless if the filter is as hot as your engine

if you turbocharged it haha.. heat shield or no heat shield who gives a damn. lol intercooler all the way haha

I had to notch and bend my heat shield, I do think it may be rubbing on the motor mount a little bit still. Oh well.

I struggled so much with that damn tube on the bottom for the SAI. Took like 5 min to get the intake+heat shield on then another 40 wrestling with the SAI tube
