Tks my brotha. One less thing I gotta worry about lol. Now another mini update lol. So I got my replacement drivers side fender from https://www.huntparts.ca/ . They have great prices on body parts and are Canadian company so shipping was really good. It came very well packaged and primed correctly. Also I got a response back from ZZP and they said its going to be a least a month before the supercharger kit is back in stock . Hopefully just in time for black Friday deal and I can maybe save a few bucks because we both know how much shipping is to Canada.

Decent site.. took a look prices are pretty good! Took me down a road of browsing for SS bumpers again lol.
I couldn't help myself brining in a set of denso 5338 mohaha. Pretty sure these are what zzp is offering as their "race plugs."
Edit: Denso 5339 is one step colder 6HR, same 0.044" gap 0.4MM fine wire. Denso 5340 looks like the "race plug,"
0.031" gap, 7 HR. All same size, thread pitch, height, etc.

Worst case Ontario, you could piece the kit together. Little more involved but you could definitely save a buck.
Hopefully I can keep myself contained, save a little myself maybe grab some rods and pistons this BF!

Yeah they have some decent deals for sure brotha. That was my first time ordering from that company so I'll definitely be ordering more probably the cobalt ss chin lip spoiler that I saw on there. Maybe new rockers also because mine are starting to get bad. Yeah i'm happy I got a quick response from zzp and yes if they are delayed longer I will look at buying the kit/piecing it together. Wont be for a bit anyway i'm broke after paying for the yyz's and the fender that cost me almost a grand. This car is putting me in the poor house quickly lol. However as they say "you gotta pay to play" lol

I feel yea there man.

My 5338s came in today but it started snowing and then I started drinking so maybe tomorrow they’ll make it on lol.. going for a trip tomorrow would have been nice to test em out..
Put the winter tires on the other day.
Noticed I’m making very easy boost with the new TB in part throttle.
Made a full bar just going down the street today 18% throttle and 4.5 pounds yesterday 38% just casually driving lol. It’s a little nuts but I love it!

2 month old black autolites vs 2 month old NGK6509 both used with methanol. (I use a little oil to grease the threads, so don’t mind that..)

New 5338’s are a little smaller than the NGKs, which were already a little smaller than the autolites.. don’t see it being an issue but I guess I’ll find out soon.

got more plugs than a nitrous car right now haha, all in the name of a few extra ponies!

nice brotha. i'm going to get my lnf plugs in a few weeks. So today I had a problem and wondering if you dealt with this before since you ae auto like me. I got the dreaded service traction message and T/C was turned off. And also the card was doing a loud hard clunk when I put it into "drive" and then when I was driving home the car felt like reduced power and very harsh shifts. I limped it home and put it in my garage. I waited about an hour and then turned the car back on and the T/C light was gone along with service traction message. Let me know brotha if you experienced these type of issues before.

It’s happened a few times to me actually. Usually in the winter too, just restart the car again before driving it always goes away for me.

If you scan the car and there’s nothing I wouldn’t worry about it, just a trick to bring people to the dealership, that’s why it’ll go away in a key cycle. Pretty sure it’s set to happen every x kms.

also wouldn’t hurt to just take a look underneath make sure the pan is dry no signs of leaks

Curious, if anyone has done the rear twisting beam bushings, do I need the exact Kent Moore tool or can I get by with a similar tool?

Shop Forman seems confident matching something up apparently we have a few things that are very similar. Might just have to take a gamble haha

I actually should be fine, it takes no different tool than the regular bushings require. I’m sure we got something. I’ll double check one more time with the Forman that we’ve at least done that once but I’m sure it’ll work out.

I actually just bought the tool used yesterday on ebay lol. Cost about $130 bucks Canadian which was a steal of a deal since I was seeing it priced at over 300. i'm doing mine myself over the winter or possibly spring. I ended up scoring a good deal on the powell twisting bushings a few months back. Oh and my car went into limp mode and I got traction service message again and my tranny felt like it wanted to die lol. Saw some other threads on here and one guy ended up having to replace his speed sensor and hub assembly. I don't have a scanner so i'm taking it to the local shop I deal with because he wont charge me. i'll keep you posted on this brotha. Yeah hopefully the shop your dealing with should be able to get it. I saw a youtube video on a aveo same sty;le twisting beam and they chiselded and hammer the old bushing out. It took longer than say using the kent moore tool but they got it done. Here is the video. Both videos are really good this is pretty much the exact same as what is done to the cobalt/G5 suspension.

Yeah I'm sure we'll make do, very interested to see if my rear alignment changes even slightly. Currently both rear tires are going right.. but either way should be a really cool upgrade!

You could try disconnecting the battery but without scan tools and if you have a CEL, probably should read it and not erase it.
I've read about bad grounds for the TCM.. haven't stumbled on any about hubs/vss before, mine are stock.
Did you check the trans pan for signs of leaks?

Yup tranny pan was bone dry brotha. And yeah I thought about the bad ground thing as well because the last two times the car acted up was when it was damp and rainy out. Either way I'm determined to get my baby all sorted lol. Plus I got soo much damn money dumped into this car there is no turning back now lol. Keep me posted on how you ended with the bushing install. Are you going to get the powell bushings or just replace with a new oem bushings?

I’m going powell.
Also figured out why my option b line had a constant flow out the bleed line. Measured my old restrictor fitting somehow it expanded to 0.08” from 0.04”, probably from transferring it between different fittings. Tech at the shop here found some 1MM restrictors In his tool box I am super happy about just need a warm day and I should have working option b again.

keep me posted on your car, really curious. Hope it goes well.

That's good you got that problem with option b figured out man. Nothing worse than having a car not work right which we both have gone through. Yeah don't blame you wanting to do Powell . I was going to just buy oem until I got a great deal on those twisting bushings and this way its never going to have to be replaced again. Taking my car down tomorrow morning to see what the hell is the problem but i'm almost positive its hub assembly or speed sensor. Eitherway I hope I get my answer tomorrow lol

My money’s on low battery, it’s gonna be something stupid lol.
yeah at this point if powell makes it, I want it!

should have the bleed line back on Sunday rain or shine. Fingers crossed that’s my issue.
