Supercharger build Lap
Yeah i'm trying to have the best high quality parts I can for my build that way they'll last a lot longer and perform better also.
UPDATE: So I went down this morning and ofcourse when I started the car the damn t/c light and service traction message was gone WTF LOL. Anyway I got the codes cleared and they took it for a test drive and it drove fine. So I'm going to get it down to the shop again next week because today they were booked solid with winter tire apts today and he basically did me a favour today looking at it. This car is going to drove me to drink brotha lol. Keep me posted on the bleed line brotha. Oh and then on my way home got into a tango with a acura rsx and stomp his ass from a light lol. I cant wait until I get the blower on this car now. Big time sleeper mode with this car lol. Love it lol

Left the line on this time, pinched it with a zip tie so it’s pretty much plugged, tried to get it just loose enough that if I touch the hose it drips an appropriate amount of fluid back into the tank. Think I’ll try again tmr stuff my bleed line with the rest of my 1mm restrictors see if that does anything.

Did they tell you what codes they were?
I’m having a lot of fun in this cold weather myself. Did a mint burnout/ launch the other day, getting a lot more comfortable loading a fwd converter. Lots of tire smoke, lots of screech, pretty sure it was mostly drivers tire tho lol. Pulled out and up to intersection, tires still smoking, everyone within a few blocks heard it, I wonder wtf the people at the red light thought seeing a little G5 and trying to put two and two together.
new 1mm restrictor did not solve my problem.. still had a constant flow out bleed line. Super weird.

lol yup like I said brotha our cars are the ultimate sleeper. Nobody is thinking a little G5 sedan got any ***** at all until you step on the gas lol. I remember that BRZ I destroyed in summer lol. Dudes face was priceless lol. I can only imagine the beat down you must bring against N/A Civics or BRZ'S since you are boosted lol
Missfire so i'm thinking that's either maf or bad plug maybe? Yeah that's weird the restrictor didn't solve the problem. I would keep checking with other people on here to see what might be the problem. As for me its still on going as well because I know its only a matter of time before I get issues with T/C LIGHT again. i'm hoping to get it up on the hoist next week brotha.
Hmm, well if you have an oiled air filter you could try cleaning the MAF. Have you had a cold air intake for a long time? Replace a TB recently or taking off the manifold?

Yeah I don’t get my problem, maybe I’ll have to do some more research or possibly try to get a whole hose that’s 0.04”/ 1mm ID Ha!
Hmm, well if you have an oiled air filter you could try cleaning the MAF. Have you had a cold air intake for a long time? Replace a TB recently or taking off the manifold?

Yeah I have a k/n typhoon intake on my car. I've never cleaned the maf sensor because I've read soo many horror stories about the maf screwing up or worse and then have to buy a new one. For right now i'm going to just drive it until probably end of Nov then its done for awhile until spring time. I'm going to try and find a beater maybe something 3-4 grand and drive that. Yeah when they hear that Supercharger they must being saying WTF haha. The thing is I could of sold my G5 and bought a 5 speed civic like everyone else in my area but I wanted to be different and build something unique and have that sleeper status as well. Probably the same with you with your G5. These cars are for most part looked as pieces of crap cars that nobody wants or looks down on. I have another good friend who has a 2009 G5 GT which came with the LAP engine and then he decided to do a 2.4 le5 swap and rebuilt the engine with forged internals. He says he should have her all dialed in and on the road by next spring. He is doing all N/A motor for now with the boost to go big turbo later on. He figures over 400whp once he goes boast. I wonder if you could have a decent amount of oil pooled up In the base if you intake manifold. Just spit balling, cleaned mine out once had at least a cup of oil inside from blow by. Could add turbulence to the airflow dynamic.

Everything’s turbo these days, very few cars on the road with roots blowers these days. Always nice to flex that haha

Interesting stuff. Feel like Iève stumbled across both these youtubers before lol. I'm not up for a whole donor car swap myself. 95% sure lap to le5 with an auto is a direct swap needing an 08 harness. Getting the modules to play nice, that may be another story but I'm also pretty sure a vats delete would remedy that problem but for such a big job leaving lots up to fate. I found out SWP does lap cams not too long ago, so If I did a gen2 lap build it would be a complete, nice and straight forward. But I don't know if that will happen anytime soon, back to thinking about houses.

Unclear if the guy ever just left his bleed line pushing constant flow or what.
BASS WAVES suggested "I had this issue. Swap the in and out at the pump. It should be heat exchanger out to middle of dual pass. Then top and bottom of dual pass go to the pump sticking sideways. The pump facing up go to inlet of heat exchanger. Opt b connects to a T or Y where the top and bottom of dual pass are plumbed together that lead to the pump nipple sideways." This sounded wrong to me at first but Ièm warming up to the idea of trying it, which would essentially reverse the entire flow of my system. IDK thatès all Iève got, I donèt think the restrictor piece is my problem here anymore.

No that’s wrong, he’s talking about being under the car looking up and having it mounted with the real bracket, then positions would be correct. I was visualizing the pump upright in my hand..

- I could try going through the HE in reverse, IN driver side out passenger side. Should make it a little harder for fluid to be pushed out the bleed port.
or
- I could try a pump on both high and low sides.
have a spare just need a 2nd connector.
would suck carrying the extra weight/ power demand but I think this would do the trick.

Yeah I see what your saying. If going through the HE don't work then I would look at the extra pump but only if the first option don't work because I've not known anybody to have to use two intercooler pumps especially since your setup isn't anything crazy brotha. Keep me posted on this either way though. Oh so My car is working and running insanely good right now after the codes got cleared lol. I ran up against a Cooper S tonight and hung with him(dude was very surprised) and I beat a cobalt ss/sc but to be fair it was a girl and she spun through first so I had her immediately lol. Hopefully I run into her again in the spring once I get my car geared up properly along with the supercharger. As much as my car pisses me off sometimes I love surprising people with it when they assume all I got is a slow piece of sH%t car haha
I’m gonna try one more time, restrict the hell out of this line. Got a tech drilling a 1mm or smaller hole in some random pieces 1/4” OD plastic pieces I found lying around. Brought in some more vacuum step up connectors, gonna shove everything inside

Well, looks like I got the bleed fitting to seal last night (threads were not sealing) Was a little optimistic and took out all the additional restrictor offices. Constant flow out the line this morning.
Putting the restrictors back in tonight, should be mint. key word in that sentence: should.
