If you want that manifold to stay clean though I would also recommend an oil / air separator.
I am very happy with my Moroso Ram 5.7L hemi unit haha.
Skip the small glass one from Jeggs and zzps Universal one isn’t that great. I’d go right to Moroso. Also I’ve had no issues running it in -40 Winterpeg. It’s metal, the fluid will freeze, just dump it when the car is warm..

It’s been a while since I’ve really raced someone, I caught up to a porshe once and the guy looked super embarrassed lol.
Lots of people hear my exhaust and try to start a rev off at lights haha and they never expect the supercharger whine it’s hilarious.
Boost is awesome your really going to enjoy just going from light to light and yeah you’ll smoke most cars 0-100Kk/h

Hoping to run a 14 - 14.5 this year first pass of the day work it down to a high 13 by the end of the day. I’ve done so much work getting here but I think I’m ready to retire my 15.09
.. I had so much KR that day, stock tires, Stock suspension, botched tune.
I’m really excited to go back.

I’ll tell you, you do a supercharger install and it won’t stop there , you’ll have a hobby for life!
Seriously bro this has helped me soo much. Now I don't have to deal with trial and error and from someone who started around 16 in the import world I made a lot of mistakes especially buying cheap parts and trying to get by. Now that i'm in my early 30's gotta good paying job and experience from past mistakes I know the only way to build a car properly is to get the right parts and if that means you pay more sometimes then so be it. So is this the oil catch can you got? If so it looks very well made and not cheap like the ZZP one. And yeah I know when I had my sentra spec v like 10 years ago it started with a catback but ended with full engine rebuild and gutted interior. Unfortunately NS winter rusted her to hell so I had to part ways lol. So yeah I know it probably wont be long after getting this car built i'll want more power lol. Yeah man sweet next time you got your baby out take a video. Love to see how she sounds. With your mods low 14s high 13's no problem especially with cool night time air. Last decent car I raced was one of ford mustang ecoboost. I didn't win obviously but I surprised myself on how well I kept up with it from a light. Guys tires were spinning so I know he was going full throttle.

So this the oil catch can you got?

Word man haha. Well I’m really glad this thread could help someone out!
I kinda thought it had been a while since someone else made a properly documented lap/le5 build thread..

That’s it tho! You could try Dix Performance in Alberta might be able to find one a little cheaper.. It’s really worth.

Oh if I could get a pass In October early morning, the IATs would be Absolutely insane, easy money.
13s are happening for sure

Sweet brotha. I'll definitely keep you posted on my build and ask you other questions when they come up. Yeah i'll look at this other company as well, but like you said that Moroso looks very well built. I like the fact that it has a t-fitting for the oil to be released from the can instead of having to take it all apart to dump the excess oil. Yeah 13's with your can be achieved brotha. That's one of the things I love about our cars they are light so once you add power to them they are a quick car that surprises a lot of people. Plus I love that ecotec torque. Can't beat it lol

yeah it’s sweet, I run a hose to my passenger fender liner and let it just leak to the ground haha... takes 2 seconds to drain it. Moroso is very well known for oil pans/ radiators etc very solid company/ products.
awesome I’ll keep an eye for your build!
power to weight baby!

Holy crap bro lol. That M62 just screams lol. I love it! You running full ZZP exhaust? i'm soo glad I went full exhaust with midlength header a few years ago. Gotta let her breath lol. And i'm going to hit up Gloria over at Powell Racing about their option bit kit. The ZZP one will cost me more due to exchange rate and shipping/dutie fees. This was the main reason I had to cut costs by getting the main supercharger, manifold and throttle body locally. The shipping to Canada is a bitch right now lol

Yup i'm ordering my FE5 struts from Rock sometime next week so i'm going to have to deal with that damn exchange rate. Yeah the midlength is perfect for our cars because it still gives good mid range trq. I was out cruising today and went to my local Dairy Queen with my GF and kid and then a sweet looking SS/TC comes in the parking lot victory red color. Hearing that blow off valve just got me pumped for the boost brotha lol. You go cruising anywhere this weekend?

Check amazon for the struts just in case..

Im on my way home now, but I logged about 1200km past two days. Needles to say I think my custom bolts will hold my manifold just fine over bumps and etc.

mid length pretty sure are your best bet for street, kinda wish I went with long tubes but I’m not complaining

correction 1600Km round trip going north, accidentally broke a travel ban.. whoops 😬
Nothing broke though so that’s pretty positive!

something strange was going on with my methanol light However, or rather I just noticed on my way in, will have to investigate after I get some sleep.
And I think I might try to make a shroud for the space in between my heat exchanger and rad/condenser stack, think I remember HGT talking about that ..

Ok sounds good brotha. I'll check Amazon today and see what I can find for a good deal. I guess are Canadian dollar shot up in value so the exchange rate might not be as bad so i'll definitely be getting my struts now before the dollar takes a nosedive again lol. yeah let me know how you make out with your heat exchanger. Also you think I should do a port job on my blower blower? How much hp do you think extra that would net me over the stock blower numbers with me running the 3.1 pulley?

Porting isnt worth it unless youre running the LS4 throttle body and shooting for near 300whp.

30-3300? I figured it out tho, it was the low fluid indicator. Didn’t think it would use that much, I left with a full gallon..

Oh **** your right, decent!
Yeah unless your going to use a 3.5” intake and an LS4 TB I can’t imagine a stock m62 being a restriction.
you might pick up 5-10Hp? but not worth the cost unless your gonna have a friend port it for beer

lol yeah couldn't wait until pay day bro so I took the plunge and bought my fe5's tonight over at Rock Auto plus I used a 5% coupon they sent me a few weeks back. Came to under $400 bucks with Fedex shipping. Yeah ok i'll skip the port job then seeing as right now i'm going to be more than fine with 3.1 pulley anyway.

what year is your GT? Think you said it was an LE5?
Edit: found it, 07 2.4L.. phone kept jumping pages.
I actually got a set of Bilstein B6 shocks at my work waiting for me, took about 10 weeks to bring them in but it was a great deal..

What nozzles and what boost level do you have it set to come on at? They can definitely suck it down while spraying. I'm using 2X - 3gph nozzles but I installed a passenger AND driver's side window washer fluid reservoirs so I have about 3 gallon capacity. On a 2 hour standard interstate drive I've used .5 to a whole gallon but I have my pump start progressively injecting at >0 boost levels OR any time I go over like 80% throttle iirc. Did you mount your tank in your trunk?

Yep 2007 G5 GT Sedan with 4 speed autotragic lol. Thankfully i'm tuned with full N/A bolt ons so it shifts pretty quick right now. Yeah my car came with FE3 suspension stock, which includes fe3 control arms, 22mm front and rear sway bars , 4 wheel abs brakes. Might actually do a brake conversion after the supercharger build is done. Well see lol. Yeah nice video, I subscribed to your youtube channel by the way. Get them views up brotha lol. Sounds soo sick to under load!

I’m using the smallest nozzle the kit came with and I had it set to engage above 1.5psi and max out at 15.
What I noticed actually Is when my cruise control increased speed sometimes (going up and down hills) it would produce 2-3 psi so I have since raised the starting point to 4. Currently just spraying over my tune for additional cooling not on an agressive meth tune just yet.
i removed my stock subwoofer and mounted it exactly there in the trunk

I’m jealous, you probably have the nice front bumper! Nice car to be modding man, I was FE1, have pretty much all FE3 front end now.. still have 5 lug drum brakes tho
Tuning with zzp? I’m still using their NA transmission tune, I really like it. I found their supercharged trans setting a bit too aggressive for city driving, but I do plan on flashing it back for a day at the drag strip

What kind of line did you run from there to the front? That hard plastic 1/4" line that's typical in these kits?
