well yeah I have almost 24k on factory brakes too, but i'm sure i'll have to change them before I get rid of the car lol. I never really thought about drums, but i've always had at least rotors in the front which needed to be changed.

Drums see only a fraction of the were that rotors see, chances are yours are just fine.

I'm not jumping on either side, but I will post a quote from Bill Hahn himself:

I am NOT endorsing the 2.4 as a 400 HP engine in stock form. But for it to even stay together so far is a testament to its capabilities. Should you build one just like ours? With what's known so far, the answer is yes, but ONLY if you can stand the disappontment of a failed stock engine, treating such a failure as your impetus to move forward to an internally-enhanced engine. It's a cavalier attitude, but actually, it's grounded in sincere realism. You should only risk breaking eggs if you don't mind cleaning up the mess.

That's the problems with forums. There are a ton of people that think they know everything because they read it on teh forum, but they have no actual first hand experience. That's the problem with carshows too. People talk about what they read on teh forums rather than what they did themselves.

Few people on here have the real world experience. Christ, some tards on here are still paying other people to install intakes, or all they can say is "That's how I bought it" or "I don't know I just dropped it off"

Exactly... but what you don't understand is that DJT and Witt both have experience working with high HP stock LE5's. Mine last summer. They'll be working with a fully built one this spring too. They're not 2.4L and 2.2L haters. Quite the opposite. They know a thing or two about these motors...

I was talking about the others who DON'T know. I know WITT knows his stuff, and DJT struts it too.

I do understand.

Let's say that somepeople need to wear tight pants to show it off, and others can just let it swing in their sweatpants and others will know.

It's not that I was looking, it's just that you have to watch out for it. One time I wasn't paying attention it smacked me upside the head.

Well it was more of a general "you" directed to everyone that was arguing with them over the LE5. My apologies for not conveying that better.

The ONLY reason I was argueing anything was when a few 2.0 members came in with the why didn't you get a SC car atitude and posts. from there, as usual for the internet everyone starts to pick apart everything you say and it goes straight to hell.

That is funny. But somehow my rear windows rolling with power down don't seem to strike fear in the hearts of anyone other then SRT owners.

I'm just sick to death of all the trim package hate that goes on around here. Its not everyone but those that do resort to it seem to be sceaming it from every hill side.

It'd be funny to watch them try, because they would need to get out and do a chinese fire drill to put them down.

It's funny, because he talks like that in person too. You think he needs time to come up with material like that, but he's on the spot. Great PR person for his own company.

Ultra blue metallic? Pics?

I thought the 2.4SS's only blues in the US were Arrival blue (only in early '06 but they do exist) and Laser blue....

I know that the granite blue and the royal amethyst (like WunSick) is available on 2.4's in Canada, and for some lucky bastards in the VERY northern states bordering Canada. (WunSick you lucky bastard I want your color!!!!!!!!!)
