Says 2.4 and 2.2 have the same powdered steel connecting rods...never noticed it till now.

idk thats the first i've heard that the 2.4's dont have forged rods, weird

 

And strangly enough on THIS GM link it says the rods are FORGED STEEL. See line #46 in the link.

How the **** can we seriously know what the hell is inside the engine if GM doesn't!?!

I posted the GM link that says the 2.4 DOES have forged rods. How can we debate anything when our source doesn't know what the **** its building?

But his is the first link I've seen that says our rods are the same as the 2.2, pretty sure its wrong looking at what Hahn is getting from them.
