its like a damn go kart, the brakes are better then stock in terms of removing heat and keeping there power but I am not to sure on how much stronger they are then stock. but they last way way way longer then stock.

Honestly I beleive all versions of the ecotecs arent that far away from each other power wise. A few car lengths ahead is not anything to write home about. Now a 1/4 or 1/2 a mile burial, thats worth noting. All versions of these engines will produce around the same amount of power provided adequate money is spent. Whether you boost the **** out of your car, or make power through more traditional means, they can all be made to run the same. To say that 2.4L's are weak though, is not a fair assessment. At least mine isnt. At the end of the day, I'll take displacement.

Different intake mani, TB, ECM (2-connectors Vs 3) and DP (has 2 cats).

One thing no one appears to have discussed: If the owner of an SS/SC is using 87 octane fuel...that will have an impact on his/her Cobalt's performance. The PCM will reduce power to keep preignition (knock) from occuring. I think that is what is happening when a 2.4 gets close to them.

When a 2.2 dusts a 2.4 that is also a factor -- lower octane fuel will reduce power in a WOT condition enough to make a big difference. ...and it is also possible that you could be paying for 91-93 octane fuel, but how do you know that is what is actually going into your tank?

ALOT of talk, no proof. if you have as much money as you claim you do, buy a camera, take a picture, ask a friend to post it. you complain about people calling bullshit, what do you expect...???
