Yes it is a 2 piece design, it can be a CAI or a short ram style.
Damn! In another month or so I'll be placing an order. And I'll get it through you guys!

I was looking over your site and it says " and we have the test results to prove it ", do you have a link to the results?

Not to take Turbo Tech's business.... but some of these Injen units are hitting e-bay now as well...

I got mine used from a guy on e-bay and paid like $130... it may be a little scratched up... but it still functions wonderfully... plus, since I was the first person to try a 2.2 intake on the 2.4 I didn't wanna pay that much incase it didn't work.

If you compare new to new, even on ebay, we are cheaper. It is hard to compare ebay used to our new in the box price obviously....

I'll be ordering mine in a month or so. A chrome one. I took the big stupid plastic engine cover off before I even drove the car off of the lot. So now I need to get the intake one out of there!

I got the black one. No one on here has mentioned getting that one. My car is black so I think it match and be different than anyone here.

I am thinking of going with the SRI for now, until winter is over. Then as soon as the thaw comes, switching to CAI. I want to hear that SRI suck. Plus it will only take me 20 minutes to install in this cold weather.

Ditto.

I want to get one for my Monte too. They have a few variations of CAI's for that as well. Not Injen, but others.

I loved my intakes sound with my AEM SR on my Honda. It was sick. I can't wait to hear it on a newer engine...

I will post pics up on this forum tonight of how it looks by itself. It should be delivered then. When I get it installed this weekend, I will start another post and let everyone see the black in the car.

I tell you what, I am anxious!

Did you have to pick it up from the FedEx place cause you weren't there to sign for it? I bet I will have to go through something like that too. Great.

no I would have rather had it happen that way. I got confirmation through e mail that it was deliverd to my front door but when I got home there was nothing there so I had to contact Fed Ex and Turbo Tech to see what could be done. Turbo Tech had to file a claim through fed ex as the part being stolen and since i needed the part ASAP I had my b/f order me another one that same night w/ overnight shipping (which was SO expensive) When i got home from work the next day my neighbor brings over the original package because Fed ex delivered to the wrong address. so now I had two intakes and it was hell trying to get Fed ex to pick up the extra one and deliver it back to the guys at turbo tech. needless to say the extra one was supposed to require signature but the guy just left it there......big PITA if ya' know what i mean

So they just leave it on the door step? I kinda hope they will do that. Except deliver it to the right door! That way it will be there when I get there.

Glad you finally got it straight. Did you return the 2nd intake?
