i would love to have a tranny tune...cause when i redline it hestitates doesnt shift fast enough and that kills me when i run my buddys 2.9 ss/sc

 

What's up with the engine/tranny mounts? I thought those were only for manual cars..?

no i never did..."streetdreamz" still got my tune under his file and yes it was hp tuners

no they do many tranny mounts and also a engine mount for our car..will def help out with better performance,suspension..our stock mounts blow..

so jimmy u still have all the stock settings set up for ur tranny..im guessin..that sucks..the tranny tune i have on my car open the car up real nice

They an easy install or does it take a bit more than a jack and a simple set of tools? I'd assume it would take a bit..

 

yeah u need some good size sockets to take off the mounts and a good flat head to get out the stock bushing..should be a how to on this..i think

I think I will try this combination. Can you give me some guidance on how to get a B&M Shift plus and tune?
Please note, I haven't done any mods yet so I may need some detail explanation but I'm mechanically oriented that I can follow instruction.

yea he never tuned the tranny at all

 

sunnyday..no need for shift kit..if ur going to tune.

if u have a 06 or 07 2.4 hptuners is a software that comes with a cable that enables u to tune the whole car from engine tuning,tranny tuning,etc.

this program also lets u data log your car to see how it is running so you can adjust the tune.this is not for a beginner..i would find someone around the area that has tuned a 2.4 to tune u
