Maybe they threw some 2.2L suspension components on there while they were at it. Hell if they put a 2.2 clip on there, what makes you think they didn't use a whole 2.2 and swapped parts? Check the PNs on the struts/springs.

i'm pretty sure just the front bumper and headlights were damaged , doesnt look like any of the engine compartment was damaged.. it's a 2.4L , why the hell would they switch out suspension ... lolol

what i'm saying is, if they took the bumper off a 2.2, they may have had a 2.2 cobalt in a rear end wreck so they put in the same struts from the 2.2 since they already had it, thinking they were the same. get it? just like they thought the 2.2 bumper was the same.

if that is the case, im glad they are not working at any dealership near me, i dont think id even let them change the oil

he said the dealership received the the car that way, so my guess is that a body shop did that not a dealership.

doesnt matter, the dealership has to tell him if its been in any accidents, if not then they are held at fault.

But apparently this kid is too scared to stand up for himself anyways so its not going to get solved, he can just live with a pieced together car thats already having problems.
