Anybody tried this thing? Is that really working?

 

Its crap not bother with it. It will not do anything.

it's garbage, a 2 cent resistor that does nothing. there are no chips out for the cobalt.

That's what i thought... How can a chip that is controlling complex algorythms in the ECU cost 8$? hahaha

What it really does it alters a sensor that its plugged into, therefor tricking the PCM to think that there is more air coming into the engine than there really is. This doesn't affect anything until you go wide open throttle, but more fuel per unit of air does not mean more power, its usually the opposite. Definetly not higher gas mileage.

Also being that we have electronic throttles, there is a series of tests the car performs to ensure the throttle is operating correctly and this can really play games with those tests.

 

ebay is **** for car performance parts. period.

 

Eh, Powersellers that make money off of selling junk is **** on eBay for car performance. If you can find some private seller who's got a part you need for cheaper than you can find it in a store, that's not ****.
Just have to put your bullshit sensor on - why would guys be paying MUCH more for CAI/Exhaust and Tunes if this thing supposedly gives a better gain than $1,000 worth of bolt ons.
