magnaflow = the shizzz

mine is a race series muffler. 3 inch in with a 4 inch tip WITH the muffler, so you dont hav to get a tip put on. oh and no resonator. i love it.

Someone let me know what the part number is for the magnaflow muffler.

 

i have a borla on mine. with the stock resonator. it sounds good. not really raspy at all.

Oh my bad, misse that lol. Hmmm, I need one that's 2.5".

 

it will sound different with the resonator. probably just quieter.
and im sure you can find some pipe thats 2.5 to 3 inch.
or the muffler shop can help with that

 

Will I lose anything by doing that? Otherwise I'm trying to figure out which one came with the magnaflow set up for the cobalt cause that's all 2.5.

 

lose anything like what? no i believe not. its just .5 inch bigger. wont hurt anything. if yout not turbo i wouldnt do a full 3 inch catback though.
if the magnaflow is 2.5, id find that muffler and use that then.

 

You should have got the Corsa Sport if you wanted a deeper tone. I had one on my SC and it sounded much deeper than the Touring. Its like the sound cancellation applied to the touring only effects the bass frequencies, which in my opinion leaves the touring sounding a bit frail. The Corsa sport is the best sounding catback in my opinion with the magnaflow coming in a close second. Sucks you didn't do your homework and bought the wrong exhaust.

I love my flowmaster 60 series muffler its deep and doesn't sound raspy or fart can at all! have gotten many comments on it! but I think im gonna go magnaflow catback next! Does the magnaflow catback sound decent? Have never heard it in person!
