I hope you enjoy knowing that 2.4guys have made more power with the M62 than you have with the TVS AND spent barely a quarter of what you spend. Bravo to you.

really? r u srious??? Dude, you spent 8k or more on this thing to fit right in your car, and you're happy with just 270whp??? I'd be pissed. I made 270 on my whip with just 700 bucks. And that was just for injectors, a tune, a pulley, and some meth. Go back to your closet and fap to my lsj

I call it karma for all the type-S nonsense ages ago. Just knowing you spent $8,000 to get to 260 whp makes me feel really good on the inside.

Ive been boltons, spray'd, supercharged, and now turbo'd. Including my long block from a local parts yard i doubt ive spend more than 3K total.

It's sad to know that my tuner's hhr would smash you in a race. And it's not turboed. Just an m62 with a 2.8 on it. Funny how you seem to have shut straight the **** up after all of your bashing of us on the 2.0

I'm making the same power as you now, with a fresh motor and I'm only pushing 10 psi. I have no choice but to kick you in the back of the neck since you shoved your head deep into your own ass. Had you listened to so many others on here, you would've stayed with the m62 since your motor isn't built. I'm pretty sure someone on here will take the tvs off your hands, giving you cash plus their m62.

Reality is a bitch.

you could do better, but be smarter than this dude and don't spend 8k on labor alone.

His numbers are crap because he didnt build it and hes really not pushing the motor and setup to its full potential. He talked a lot of **** now hes pussing out when push comes to shove.

Definately I wouldn't pay anyone 8k to do a supercharger swap. Which is really easy when you have a little help.

So what yall think, with a built head, and transmission. You think it can make over 300whp? Cuz my goal is to be over 300whp by next year.

Humility goes a long way when you're doing something for the first time and you have no clue whatsoever as far as what's happening and what to expect. through the progression of this site, many new things have been introduced.

Think back to what the results were with the tvs 1900 on the lsj block. The displacement was just too small to overcome the monstrosity that's more accustomed to an ls3. Not an lsj. (junior) This project is no different. It was a shot in the dark. I admire his curiosity, but lol at his arrogance.

Vince won't be able to get much out of it anyway since those 2.4 blocks don't do well when they get up into the teens with boost from a blower. The turbos work better since they don't bitchslap the internals when the boost hits.

I hope this serves as a lesson, albeit a costly one.

Dragon, see if there is someone who is good at porting heads and build your up. If you're already boosted, a properly prepared head will do more for you than a tvs, and not risk breaking **** in the process. The headwork helps out the lsj more than the tvs in the long run. If you can't get more air in and out, what good is a bigger blower right?

wait wut.. did you just say boost controller? wtf is that going to do ?

how much boost you pushing? do you have meth?

i really cant wait till i get my car fixed back up .. then i can hit the rollers again and embarrass the **** out of your car lol i mean i was pulling for you .. but **** man 270 is weak sauce .. i'm wondering what amount of boost you're putting on it ..

then again the tvs shines with meth/ corn so.. idk .. i wouldn't have done the tvs on a 2.4 without meth

I will say one thing..., had he sleeved the block and had forged internals, this build would have been legitimate. I'm still learning about DI motors, so I cant speak much on them, but the LSJ is built to handle moderate amounts of boost. Period.
