No offense, but that article is 2 years old... 2 YEARS OLD. Don't get me wrong, I read Motortrend every month, but just a few months ago they were still talking about the new Z07 coming out, which turned out to be completely wrong . If there was going to be a 2015 DSRT-4, they would have released it at the Detroit auto show. So even if it will be a 2016 model, that's still a year and 8 months away from the showroom floor. Honestly, I'll believe it when spy shots of a DSRT-4 test mule start popping up.

I won't believe a SRT Dart will be produced until I actually see it.

I'd love to see an AWD SRT Dart lol be a great car in my eyes but doubt its gonna happen. The turbo mustang might be quicker then the v6 but its still a mustang and ill never own one granted the new 5.0s and the gt500s make some good power, everybody's aunts, cousins, siters, great uncles, son has one

Lol I'm just saying! I mean the v6's are fun and the new 5.0's are pretty sick...the 4 banger seems so out of place in a mustang it''s hilarious

Think it would be cool though if they revived the pinto and dropped the turbo 4 banger in there, THAT would be cool as fawk! Tho it may be funny to see what happens when tuners get their hands on the 2.3, I think we'll see a lot of v8 raging

The new ones actually are pretty quick, even with the V6.

I don't think it's out of place at all, with a tune and a few bolt ons I could see it being a great engine. If someone wants the extra mileage and the power then the 4 could potentially give the 5.0 a run for it's money (although I'm sure the engineers are looking at this).

GM needs to work on a compact sport RWD with some guts under the hood for under 20K so it can be with in reach of most people to buy. The Camaro is a over priced slug and the Corvette is out of reach for most people to buy

It would have to be a very small car. FR-S is 25k base. I don't see GM going less than that.

Rate of inflation is too high. $20k is a tough price point to hit.

impala is way too big of a car and for a performance edition car like the impala they have the Chevy SS which is a waste of money in my eyes, they dont even offer it in a 6spd for 40k you can pick up a nice used CTS-V. They need to have another compact car whether its fwd, awd, or rwd something that did as good as the 08-10 Cobalt SS's. I think they should realease something like the 130R or just do the Cruze with the new 2.0 turbo just give it that tuner look and sound and i think it will do pretty good.

When the Solstice GXP came out in 2007 the sticker was already $29k-30k, there's no way a Code 130R with the new 2.0L turbo would be any less. You can buy a $25k Cruze already . We will just have to accept the fact that the day of <$25k performance is gone.

Assumming a 3% constant inflation (which we all know inflation has been way higher these past few years), a $30k 2007 Solstice GXP would now cost nearly $37k just by inflation. Nevermind the fact that safety requirements have gotten tougher. A $24k 2008 SS/TC would now cost nearly $29k just by inflation.

Very true lol I guess thats why those **** box Ford ST's are so much haha. Buddy of mine picked one up as soon as they came out. Got the leather recaros and all, paid 33k for it and he was tired of the payments went to trade it in at the same dealer where he bought, car was still all stock and all had 4,000k on it and they would only give him 24k on a trade in....

Holy ****, just looked at KBB.com

2013 semi loaded private party is 20-21k with less than 5k miles.

EDIT: that car shouldn't be over 30k new though. Unless fully freaking spec'd

Damn, that sucks. Those are depreciating faster than the Cobalt SS did

Well you have to figure too they can be optioned with HIDs, leather Recaros, FordSYNC, etc. Those options add up.

I put down every option on KBB and it barely moved the value.
