So what are you trying to say?

You should add this to the tread I have for Eaton TVS superchargers.

Regards,

Ryan

That part I've got. It when terms like "pressure ratio" and "surge" come into play that I move on to simpler things.

Like intakes.

My question is the pressure ratio... Is that in bar?

So you take it times 14.7 to translate into PSI or am I totally on the wrong track... Because if I'm right that is a lot more boost than I expected.

9000-11000 RPM with 700-850 m^3/hr intake volume flow, and a pressure ratio of 1.5-1.7.

9000-11000 RPM is slow as ****

even at max eff% its flow rates are lacking.

and a grand total of ~4000rpm or so in that maxx eff% is week.

however if you drop a minimal amount to the 70% eff% range then its usable RPM range becomes much more forgiving.

73%-70% isnt bad for a roots blower at all.

thinking of swapping?

If I got that blower, I'd spin it to 17k no questions asked.

well dependent on your system PR the ill-effects of that excessive rpm might not be THAT bad.
