lol, but thats a good noise though.
I'm just gonna drop my car off at my friends shop and let him do the fuel system, I really don't feel much like doing it myself right now after last weekends 18 hour fiasco with the turbo swap. which BTW sucked in my air filter and pulled all the fiberglass off the firewall..... ****** crazy. so I also need to buy a new filter and some more piping tomorrow to relocate it away from the firewall while I still have oneleft.

lol, my filter looks like someone chewed on it,,,, still somewhat cone shapped, but it's all twisted and mangled lookin now, plus it has a **** ton of fiberglass in it, so it's time for a new, better flowing and better placed one.

the main concern would be the turbo itself.

the two on the skyline ate the filters, and the turbo's to the tune of 2k a piece at dealer cost

Heh, Dan just uses the rad. support as a filter. If it sucks that in, I'll let ya know.

Actually its like that so it gets absoultely the quickest spool possible.

oh you're no fun!

you're not caffinated today

anyways.

y block out of the normal feed line

whatever pump you so desire to use

hobbs switch set to 5 psi to kick on "bigger" pump

y block with a check valve before, and after said pump.

y block about 6 inches away from fuel rail

-8 an line feeding it.

this is actually a current set up on a friend of mines tt402 c5z. works flawlessly

How would you regulate the pressure of the second pump or is this a return system?

My concern, is that at higher fuel pressures (if 54 is base and you're boosting 23- that comes to 77 psi) it could fail allowing lower pressure.

I couldn't care less about the noise. Heck, I'm still annoyed car manufacturers have "intake mufflers" stock. What a joke!

the pressure stays the same in the rail. the volume changes.

Not with the referenced aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, it doesn't.

The DIFFERENCE between manifold pressure and fuel pressure stays the same (or at least that is the goal), so that fuel metering stays the same.

Only way it could affect pressure is if it failed and leaked to the atmosphere. Its still within a closed system.

I figured it was hairbrained.
