I spoke w/ Jack from Racetronix today. He said because of the differences in applications and testing and whatnot, he can't exactly answer your question. He did say that he thinks they will work well, but can't guarantee it. They should behave relatively similar to the 660's, but no one knows for sure until someone tries it. He thinks the majority of people's problems w/ the SD 60's is that people aren't buying flowmatched sets. All the sets he sells are w/n 1%, and that 60lb/hr SD's w/ a return setup should have the greater capacity we're looking for...

Well, those of us that aren't looking for 500+whp applications.

well for the 60's I do have the flowmatched ones..
If someone tells me which injectors they are, I'll order em right now and try em out since I need something desperately since I am running out of injector @5800 rpm now stays btwn 132-144% IDC at WOT and 22psi. I will also be doing the return setup on the car soon, just waiting to pick up this jeep my friend got so I have something to daily drive while the car is down

Paul, don't put the car in front of the horse. Get the return-style conversion done, then report back to use what your IDC's are so we can have some more "convincing" data.

Then you can put in bigger injectors

still on the stock motor, but doing the cams and valve springs very soon.
new motor will have:
Pauter Billet Chomoly rods
diamond racing 9.5:1 pistons
ARP head studs
Cometic head gasket
Still tossing up btwn the JBP stage II head, or just getting mine ported
272 cams (going out this week to get reground)
Stock crank
Sleeves (still need to order lol)
Hahn intake mani (just waiting for it to come in)

will be converting to return style fuel system soon.

Don't forget to consider GM Racing's Ported LSJ head.

PS- thanks for posting in the other thread, too.

Ok so I'll go return style first. Probably order the fittings and pump and crap this weekend. should have it in a week or so later. Then we shall see, but even with the experiences I've had with the sRT-4 guys, they go to 750-850 cc injectors on a return line setup @400whp or so.

Contact me before you throw those cams in. I have a few tuning tricks for ya and might have a revised lifter shim design depending on what mine look like the next time I pull the cam cover.

blow through, my piping is all f'd up right now though, I'm going to attempt to remake it this weekend to all 3" from the fmic - the tb.
Comes out of the FMIC at 2.5" and increases to 3" for about 12"s where the MAF is, then back to 2.5"
I know it's a shitty setup, but for now that's all I got. Haven't had anytime to fix it yet, was going to do it last weekend, but issues with installing the bigger turbo prevented me from finishing it.

Rousch is using completely different cams with their NA build. I really hope they or GM will just release a set of LSJ blanks soon.

Dan is saying his shims haven't moved except for the part on cylinder two where the con rod bearing failed. I want to be 100% before I change blowers. When I get a day off this weekend I'll pull the cam cover and verify they are still where they should be.

If you are getting the Hahn intake manifold why not go for the PortFueler option?

Bill is making it sound like it is easy to tune and you wouldn't have to worry about getting bigger injectors. Just a thought...

I've heard mixed reviews on that. People either love it or hate it.

Wonder how it would work with an electronic TB PCM.

You think he'd make it sound like its hard to tune?

It just seems to me like a lot of hassle when I can just convert to return and use my pcm instead of an SMT-6 or whatever he's using. That being said that is a sexy ass piece of hardware and defiantly a smart idea for alot of cars. A nice size primary injector with a bad ass secondary injector always makes for a nice dd.
