yeah that's what I picked up too, exedy ftw lol. I just need to do something asap with the fuel situation. I'm hitting crazy IDC's and my car is just all over the place with fueling, no matter what I change in the tune, or anything it always does the same thing at 22 psi, so I'm running 19 right now, but since the clutch is slipping I really can't get any accurate numbers, also that could be why my car does what it does, but we will soon find out once the new clutch is in.

yup, 2.5" piping is f'in up my maf output freq, hence why the high numbers, there;s a lot of turbulance in there, you can actually hear it under boost. But will all be fixed in the next few days, car is getting gutted and pretty much totally redone.
sweet!

i was also shown the light in pe tweaking. the car doesn't like straight lines in trying to maintain a steady afr
look at your afr actual in reference to your commanded

yeah I know, the curve is usually a little spikey, this log run is from my first pulls with the new turbo in and pretty much untuned. I haven't had time to try and dial it in lately, and since everything is getting completely redone, I'm not gonna bother, plus I won't really be driving it much once I pick up the jeep. but I do want to get it ready to run at the track march 1st, so I'm going to need to put a lot of miles on it and a lot of dyno time.
well motor is being delayed again for abit due to me getting screwed out of half my bonus at work (long story but only got 4g's instead of 8g's came out to $2400 after taxes) I figure the intake mani, new fuel pump, return line, new FMIC, new BOV and piping are the most important right now to keep the stock motor alive, which somehow it still is after a few pulls on the street where the car leaned out to @14-15:1 afr under full boost. (It does freakish things like that occasionally)
lol I wonder.
For reasons due to air turbulance at the maf, my car does not respond well to that kind of tuning, 06black I tried running your tune and the car did not like it one bit, idled like ****, leaned out real bad, actually got some KR (I never get any for some odd reason). I can't wait to redo this **** so I can finally tune it properly. anyone that looked at my tune on the car was surprised it actually ran, but it's the only way it does.. damn cobalts

How can u figure its the maf and pe...there is no hz logged for the maf...only lb/min which isnt calculated until after it receives the hz reading and goes thru the maf calibration table.
And what is this straight line pe **** u talk about...pauls car has the same problems as mine...spill it or ban.

the HZ actually stays pretty good, but I had to play with the maf output vs freq to get the car to somewhat run right, hence the high maf lb min reading compared to the VE reading. Won't have to worry about it soon though.
for fueling issues though, once I get the hahn port fueler setup, I was thinking about running a set of 42's as the primary injectors and 60's as secondaries, completely zero out the stock computers control of the fueling in boost, and leave that up to the port fueler setup which will run on a simpler MAP VS RPM map (1000 point adjustable too) I think that will clear up 99% of my issues

the maf stays set at a pre-determined setting. then the pe is changed according to the air flow so to speak. forced induction isn't a straight line.
if i spilled more, id be drawn and quarted
The commanded vs actual only shows the failing of the injectors to fire for the proper time and their result on the af...which makes it go lean. also pe isnt based on airflow..its based on rpm
hence the so to speak
air flow does play a role in how pe is added in said percentage. a 2.7 car is flowing "more air" than a 2.8 car. so, a person adds fuel in the pe side to go with this. or maf settings, either one.
everyone has different tuning styles. air flow is not linear

My PE table has never been a straight line. Mine sort of starts high and about mid rpm range swoops down to a lower level with some minor speed bumps at the end.
My A/F ratios stay on target though!
Now, I am still learning the timing tables though. I've got it figure out for the most part, but I just don't like the idea of selecting a big group of blocks and typing in what advance I want in the end. I personally think that a steady progression to what I desire for timing make better sense. Am I right on this, or just completely jacked up?

lol right now yes, but after new pump and return line, hopefully not.
Also I need to put my SCIP sensor back in. I think thats whats causing my horrendous bog if I go WOT it drops to 10.0:1 afr even if its out of PE. stupid sensors....

Oh, I agree on that too! Fuel takes forever to dial in for me as I make small adjustments so I don't break anything!
Area, do you think you could possibly send me a screen shot of your "good" timing table? I promise I won't give it out and I can't use it anyhow since I'm away from my car for the next 5 months anyhow!
I'm just curious to see what yours looks like compared to mine and the one Paul sent me awhile back.
