yeah mine is quite a bit different now since I had a chance to actually sit down and dial it in. Need to adjust it some more, but I waiting to fix the fuel issue so I can run a little more timing up top

Same here, overreacting knock sensors for the lose.

Fuel goes where I tell it to, no issues on what "might" happen if too much or too little is used, albeit nothing stupid is commanded.

Oh, I do hate those over reactive knock sensors especially since the car senses knock sometimes even when it's not there! I found that out on the dyno and was pretty pissed! HPTuners has some control to reduce it, but not much.

Can't you lower their sensitivity to a decent level?

weird cause I get absolutely no knock even when my car gets a little lean (I know the sensor still works though cause I've advanced the timing more to to see)

You can lower the amount of timing it pulls and how quickly it bounces back if I remember correctly. It's been awhile since I messed around with the settings.

On the LS1's you can change the amount it takes for the sensors to notice knock before any timing is pulled.

Yeah, my tuner that taught me contacted the owner of HPTuners directly while walking his dogs. They said that they were going to put that same adjustment in the next version of of HPT, but I heard there will be no more updates unfortunately unless the last one got. The LS2 GTO guys were having the same issues, and that solved it for them.

Someone forgot to send me that memo ... so I've only got ~650rwhp without a return line.

Almost March ????? I'm one day ahead of you (well ... ~18hrs), and it's not even half way through February in Aussie yet.
BTW ... I did not state what year we would release it, I only mentioned the month. March 2009 ??

Perhaps these will help ease the tension ...

They're gallery pics from here. Theres some posted over on the redline forums in that gallery too.

BTW Paul, did you end up picking up a set of those disc style 79lb/hr injectors? I ordered a set this morning for this blower and I'm just wondering how long delivery time is from racetronix.

Witt

RC makes some awesome ~80lb/hr injectors that'll work with our style and impedance drivers if you need a set.

i picked up a set for my car to help cover the head/cam package once it gets a bit nicer out.

The next size up I could find from them were 750cc (71lb/hr) and they don't state any flow numbers or even what type (disc, pintle, ball).

The ones I picked up from racetronix are 850cc (79lb/hr) disc style with better min. flow rates then the 660s most of us use. Also racetronix are 100 bucks cheaper for the set.

i snagged a catalog of theres from a local shop and started tearing thro it. it was a old book so things might have changed but i sure hope not. i've had tons of luck with big RC's on DSMs and good ole B18s

i dont have it on me at work, but i swear i saw a set around that flow(once you converted to 58psi from the measured 43)

i called them to verify injector type and impedance and every thing checked out, it was a bit ago tho, the 60's with the OE head have been ok as of yet.

but meh, if you got these others for cheaper then its no big deal, just wanted to put it out there.

Just the fact that these ones I bought are disc style over the shitty pintle 660s were enough for me to buy them.

I actually expect better injector control with these. We'll see though.
