Where do you get these total seal rings? Because I've got my new Pistons from Diamond Racing... but I need new rings.

What are you talking about? The last two pages were discussing supporting modifications for the blower in the thread title.

Call up Intense. They sell Total Seals with the pistons they sell. I think djt81185 was able to order just the rings from them.

One guy gave an example of using aggressive cams on a daily driver in response to someone stating that a 272 degree duration cam would be too aggressive.

I think you missed a few prior posts.

You can get the total seal rings directly from Diamond also. The last set I bought was straight from them.

How much are they from Diamond... and would you guys strongly recommend them?

I reused stockers as per build book recommendation.

If you get the Total Seals you will have to gap them.

Yeah... well, I was gonna follow the build book as well. A local Performance Shop Guy told me this and got me thinking though:

So I was curious as to what other people were doing. i just want my baby done right... and there aren't many around here that I would trust with it... and I don't know TOO much when it comes to INSIDE the engine. So I was gonna have a Machine Shop do it... unless I can find a trusty Cobalt owner that does engine work.

I never honed or gapped or Total Seals when I went to Diamonds. ****** sealed perfectly. My car only had ~15k miles though.

Besides that, you pretty much named my build...
so you want to raise boost and lower head flow?

interesting approach to a "build"

There's still going to be several feet of snow at the track here. lol. We're getting another 10 inches today. I can hardly walk outside anymore.

goddamn man, we got like no snow this year, what little we did was gone that night.
I just want to break 12's on street tires at this event (imports vs domestics) and then start on the new motor. My clutch came in on friday, well it was delivered to my job, which of course I wasn't at so I haven't seen it yet. All my fuel system stuff is sitting in my trunk, now if my new intake manifold and intercooler would ever get here I can get this thing all buttoned up.
