**** never goes as planned. 2 day job turned into 2 weeks cause of the damn machine shop. Yea, same ****, different person.

BTW, hopefully the machine shop finishes everything up soon. Can't wait to see this beast out there tearing it up...

happens just about everytime man. Machinest are some of the coolest people in the world, at least I think. It's simply amazing the **** they can do to your head. But good lord, they sure can take FOREVER to get something done. It'll be worth it though in the end.

I can guarantee it. 40-50whp isn't hard to gain with a decent port job and a good tuner. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bryan squeeze a bit more though given his tuning expertise.

took it to noland cylinder heads to get the head fixed. not worth it. being sent another head. warped 17 thou, valve job not done, would have to hone the cam journals. hopefully if everything goes as planned i will have it back saturday

DId you find out the head had problems after you'd bolted it all together? Hopefully you were running studs and not the torque to yield bolts if so!

it was studded. found the problems after the car wouldn't fire. combustion burns evident on the pistons. it had fuel and spark. timing was right. when the head is warped, and nothing seals. it won't run.
