How long does methanol last

ok so my car wasn't running for 2 months so i had about 4 gallons of 75% meth 25% water sitting around for 2 months
how long does meth last
how fast does it get diluted

do u mean separate? if u dont add anything it wont dilute.

yea but what im saying is that the meth is already diluted w.the water. as long as he doesnt add more water it shouldnt dilute more

ok i thought i remember someone telling me that meth absorbs water or something from the air and will dilute over time

as long as you have it in a sealed container youre good, open container= nono and the meth will absorb water in the air

it is in a vp racing fuel container so i think it should be good but what about the half gallon that has been in my tank for 2 months now

id dump it for safety, meth is cheap and i know my tank had a breather hole. refill will meth in container

You will be fine to use it as long as you left the cap on the tank. I know they are vented slightly.
