SS twincharged

I finally decided to put a turbo on my S/C SS balt

there's the result

But now I have a problem
My car burn oil like a old honda
I search on the web an found a restrictor for my turbo, my turbo oil feed line is plugged in engine bloc, because it don't have any port for oil on the head...but the engine bloc have much more psi of oil than the head

the oil restrictor have a hole of 0.030'' or 0.025'', mine's is 0.060'' (drill bit 1/16)

any other idea?

where did u plug in the block for oil? there are plugs that have full pressure and some that have about a third. u want to be tapping into the block by the headers. let me try and find exactly where with maybe a picture

cant really tell where tht is from the pic but u dont need all tht mess of adapters, there is one from summit that fits.

MOST plugs on the cobalt will have restricted flow, u need to find the ones that dont. i tried to find a diagram or something but couldnt. i kno someone on here has one tho.

I have mine on the blue circle and don't run a restrictor. Had it this way all summer.

You might want to move the breather line that goes from the valve cover to the pipe just before the supercharger. It should be in the intake before the turbo. Since the place where you have it is now pressurized, by the turbo, you are pressurizing the crankcase every time you are under boost, which might be the cause of your oil consumption. At least it looks like it is still in the stock location by the pictures you have posted. Just my theory

looks pretty sick man. Congrats. Get it on a dyno and get to a track once you get the problems ironed out. I agree about the oil filter on the valve cover. You definitely need to replace that line with a filter and cap the intercooler pipe. Sick 'balt though man!

yeah that is most likely what is going on... just run a breather off that line on the valve cover

I just solved this problem on my engine. The vent on the valve cover is too small. I was getting huge amount of white smoke on dyno runs after lifting at the end. I drilled a giant hole in the oil filler cap, tapped it and ran a hose to the cold air intake. No more smoke screen after high boost runs, no more blowing out the dipstick.

The crankcase vents on the engine are just too small for high boost.

I solved the majority of the problem with a breather on the cover valve,

Now I need to change my wasteate spring, the gauge hit 24 psi @ 2500 rpm and continue to increase....lollll little too much for my stock internal

I have a 14.5psi spring in the wastegate, the boost seem to be add both, 18 psi on the s/c and 14 on the turbo....

I try to put my 6 psi spring in the wastegate and change to stock pulley on the s/c

wathever for now is completely insane, the second gear, half throttle, tire spin like a crap.... hahaha
