I remember hearing from someone that the Cobalt SS oil cap was the same as the LS1 which means this should work.

Now people said that the PCV system doesn't work well with high boost applications... How high? I run a 2.7" pulley and get like 17ish PSI. Would I benefit from a breather cap?

When using the breather cap do you keep the stock systems in place? What about the stock line on the back of the valve cover that some people put a catch can in. What is the consensus of what t run? Breather and/or catch can?
thanks, my front engine vent where the PCV normally goes it covered up by the early version of the Hahn intake manifold. So I was having problems at 15 PSI.

Soo to clarify, you are using a breather similar to the one I posted (LS1 style) AND a catch can? What type of catch can setup are you using plumbed to where?

Also would it be worth it to do this to my M62 SC'd car?

Hey 06blackg85ss, did you trunk mount your stock windsheild washer bottle? I was thinking of running my charge pipes this way for my air-air setup and was wondering what to do with the windshield washer bottle......

That is the exact breather I use. I did the DIY catchcan and it runs off the back of the valve cover. Plumbed to another tiny breather

Wicked, would the breather mod be beneficial to a car still on the M62 running a 2.7"? Or is it really only worth it when going TVS or Turbo?

So you made this twincharge yourself? I'm guessing so beacuse you said the turbo and s/c are running both at the same time, zzp's kit opens the blower bypass once the turbo spools. This would be sick to see in person, do you ever go to the meets in Ottawa/Gatineau? I've never gone but I'll be there for sure if your going to one, lol. I live in Petawawa, about 1.5hrs from Ottawa. When my car is paid off I'd love to go this route with it and I wouldnt mind seeing it in action... How much did you spend on parts to put this together?

yes I made it myself, I run the same setup that zzp run, the bypass open when the turbo spoolthe problem is that my setup run a big trim, a t4 with A/R 0.86
normally this turbo spool only at 5000 rpm on a 2.0l engine and push a lot of cfm, but with the supercharger, it spool instantly and the bypass is not enough for flow all this cfm...

I'm guessing about, where the turbo guy's put their MAF, after or before the turbo, where is the best?

I thought you were saying your running both at the same time though? since you said earlyer in the through that you hit 24psi at 2500rpm, even through the turbo has a wastegate spring for 14.5psi, and the blower is making 18psi? Its just my understanding was that the zzp only used the s/c till the turbo spooled then was only using the turbo to produce boost and by the sounds of it your using both? Either your setup kicks ass, congrats on that.

It was on the hot side before the intercooler since there is no room on the cold side on my setup. 270F and boost was causing all sorts of problems. Now it is right after the filter and behaving well, it does not even mind the BOV to atmosphere. We had it pretty much tuned from scratch within 5 dyno runs
