Need opinions
Ok guys I may have took on more than I can handle but here it goes... K20 swapped hatch boosted making almost 400 horses, that's all I know about it. Besides it could go 13.3 on radials... So this is what my build has come to tell me what yall think.... New intercooler piping hotside, k&n intake, downpipe, have a muffler delete so leaving catback. Also ttr stage 2 trans mounts and engine mounts, and traction bars. Waiting on s/c brakes to swap to be able to run 16s along with 26x9. Going to be dyno tuned by trifecta. Possibly a dual tune with hp tuners. Will be to 22 psi. Any opinions or help needed thanks

if its not at a track try a slow roll. it will take them longer to get into the revs and even one they get there, high horsepower hondas spin FOREVER before they get traction. you mentioned hes on DRs so this scenario may be irrelevant. good luck with that. hopefully they lift the head of you win by default. lol

Ok well alot of people have said it's possible with a good driver and tune. With everything I'm doing. So when I get finished I'll go to the track and post times. Don't see how 100 extra horses cam pick up a second at the track.

100% stock turbo people are in the high-mid 13s, bolted and tuned a good driver can get into the 12s.
But yeah man, tough race for you. Those cars are light, the k20s rev high and flow up top. But just do your best if you have to do this race.

cmiller on stock turbo, bolted, tuned, etc with street tires on:
YouTube - 2009 Cobalt SS/TC 12.9 pass
YouTube - 2009 Cobalt SS/TC 12.74
Very possible to run in the 12s on the k04. Though, cmiller is a good driver. These were in his earlier days still.
I will agree. a k20 swapped hatch is a 12 second car just with the swap alone, with a turbo, hmmm. Just pray the kid can't hook and/or can't drive.
