OFFICIAL Blown 4-banger build updates!
I am getting my AE86 drivable (misc repairs), then I'll tackle the Cobalt. I'll also be doing a motor swap in the Corolla, should only be down for a few days, I'm getting EVERYTHING I need before I do it. Dropping in a KA24DE out of a 240SX. My license plate will either be NISYOTA, TOYSSAN, or KAROLLA

Well, when I got the Corolla, the main issues were...
#1 - Bent right side rear axle.
#2 - Bent right side rear wheel.
#3 - Leaky brakes, with iffy pedal feel.
#4 - Engine over heated, if left idling at a stop for too long.
#5 - Starter did not work, had to be push started.
#6 - Motor coughed and sputtered.
Well, as of today, it has a straightened rear axle, new rear wheels and tires (took care of the bent stuff), new brake master cylinder, wheels cylinders, shoes, pads, and a new right side drum (took care of all brake issues). Also while working under the hood, we noticed it has a large electric fan on the radiator, but it didn't work. In the end, it was a simple ground that had come loose, so we hooked it back up, and it works great (no more over heating)! After deciding the starter was retarded (worked outside the vehicle, but not while bolted up), I got a new one and threw it on, with a push button start
I also installed new spark plugs and wires, as well as a new air filter, and cleaned out the carburetor. Now with a steady diet of 91 octane gas, the motor still spits a little in the morning (what carbed car ISN'T cold blooded), but once it warms up, it runs like a champ, and gets 26 mpg if I keep my foot out of it. I also painted all the wheels flat black, and I think it made it look tremendously better than before. Now my car runs good, drives good, has awesome brakes, and looks.... at least better than when I bought it

there's no reason to start another project when there wasnt funds to finish the first one
I will disregard this post due to lack of knowledge of the situation. The beater is a DD, I made it reliable so I can drive it, now I shall concentrate on the cobalt.

Not until I got the Corolla, before I got the rolla, it was either my feet, my 2003 GT mountain bike, or a ride from one of my friends.
I shall send a PM explaining the long repair time.

I guess I'll pm you. Although recently, I've added you to my list of Haterade brewers...
