my quest to break a certain number still continues. the 272's are so freakin hit or miss on power it's not even funny. knowing my luck. the gmpp cams will be about the same, and i'll end up going back to the stockers, and have wasted damn near 1500 in valve train parts.

I can see how an uneducated person could mess something up, if they weren't willing to learn, and just jump in trying as they go. Some of the things could be "difficult" for some people. ****, gapping the rings (properly) is a bitch and takes forever!

i can vouch gapping is the most tideous and pain in the ****, just dont try an rush things and everything goes good, also tripple check everything, i missed checking the screws holding the pump in, look at me now

Yeah, now I'm thinking if I should buy a new crank pulley bolt. I heard its a torque to yield bolt, but I've heard that you can reuse it with no problems.

So went to put the tranny together today. Got stuck, because there are two C shaped thin pieces of metal, and we don't know where the **** they go

those are the pieces in a model when you put it together that are left over

just save them in a box for later
