hey b4b a buddy of mine says there are some pretty empty roads out where I live he is a praticing real estate agent so he knows where cops hardly go to. It may be quite a bit outa your range (50 miles at least) but if your interested I will ask him where these locations are and you can take her out there.

It should, everything is brand new. Not to mention the engine only had, what 11K miles on it when it blew.

202 freeway late at night. Cops occasionally hid out there, but they don't even attempt a chase if they clock you at 150+ mph, and even if they do, its easy to get away

Seriously. By the time they get up to 150mph, you are 2 miles ahead.

I mean the standard cruiser runs a 16 second 1/4 mile.

Oh, I have a very good idea myself. Trust me when I say my car has had a lot of downtime since I've owned it. My Integra has as well.

 

But has your car been down twice as long as it has been up?

 

1 broke axle, 1 blown engine, 1 blown headgasket on new engine, 2 broke trannys, 3 ClutchMasters' clutches, 1 broken set of shift linkage, 1 locked together twinscrew w/o a stock M62 backup for replacement, 1 dumb dealership spilling brake fluid into my fuse box, and same dumb dealership having to paint the side of my car after they scratched the **** out of my door. I've had my fair share of downtime needless to say. Add in the deployments where I cannot drive the car or have the chance to break it more and I'm sure the downtime would increase more. Let's not even get started on my Integra's downtime since I am managing both at the same time.

 

There are a few of us who really do know how much Cam is going through. And as for myself, I have had my car torn apart more than 2/3rd's of the time that I have owned it and I bought it in early '05.

 

I don't think anyone TRULY knows how I feel. I'm almost positive you guys live on more than $50 a month after your bills are payed. Many a week will go by and I'll eat maybe 2 meals in the whole week, because I can't afford to eat Luckily I take Adderall XR for my ADHD, and the main side effect is loss of appetite, so going 2 days without food isn't that big of a deal for me, except for the fact that I'm super lethargic and weak by the end of the 2nd day

 

My bills exceed my income.........that's why I tune cars......and I'm still broke after that too. Seriously, get a job you crackhead!

Well... I'm not that poor for sure, but my gov't paycheck isn't that great. If I was though, I would definitely not be spending it on the car. That's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

I can however afford Top Ramen (who can't), but that **** is soo unhealthy I'd rather be hungry than weigh 240 lbs (I'm only 5' 9", and I weigh ~165, so I don't starve).

 

I just heard the video of a Mustang with the FRPP Cams in it.........now I need to find out if those are nitrous compatible. That would be outrageous. That would put my car at the 400bhp mark off bottle! And it sounds as choppy as any other cammed V8. Squirt Squirt!

 

I hope to be at 400 bhp on pump gas, and seeing as my car will weigh 2700-2800 lbs, and yours is 3400 lbs. I still win, not to mention my gears will be longer than Corvette Z06 gears 130+ mph in 3rd gear baby!!!
