I tested the incoming signal to the sensor and it is 2.5 volts from both wires. Is that correct?

Its located under the IM on the right side. Just above the starter.

Connector looks like this

Its kinda hard to get to.

The supply voltage to the sensor was 2.5 volts on both purple and yellow wire. I have not tested the actual sensor output when it was cranking its difficult. But the supply harness was still reading 2.5 volts while cranking.

I am not too much worried about the sensor. It is brand new. I was just needing the supply voltage of the purple wire (pin diagram shows yellow is the signal wire going to the PCM) when the car is in the "on" position.

OH ****! one more thing i just remembered, THis gonna sound bad BTW. Randomly when my car used to hit a heavy enough bump my car would stumble and bog. Eventually it would hut any bump and Die for s split second and fire back up. The harness you have a picture of, above^^^ is where i had a wire that was so worn it split itself apart. All in all i cut the harness out and hardwired it together. Never had a problem since. lol.

Yah it blows, but I think I am close to a solution. Which is good.

Once it starts I am going to make a new build thread and have a sound clip and probably rename this one to. "IF YOUR CAR DOES NOT START AFTER BUILD AND YOU HAVE CHECKED EVERYTHING, READ THIS."

I dont have spark and fuel. Everything else "seems" to work except the CKP sensor.

I have tested the supply harness to the CKP sensor and both wires on the harness show 2.5V. (That test was done with the harness unhooked from the pigtail of the CKP sensor)

I assume this is an issue and that is why I am saying I think I am close to a solution.

Yes the sensor is brand new. Dont take that by me saying it doesnt work that it actually does not work. That is just the problem area that we think is not allow my car to see RPM.

I will test that when I get home.

Well just because its new does not mean it works... Ive had plenty of brand new parts not work... just saying...

Yah I know. Me too. Well I messed with the sensor and with the wires. unplugged the comp. Now I get fuel but I have a crank position performance code. So I just changed the sensor back. I am going to check for spark now. Just to make sure.

When I tried to start it, it sounded like it wanted to go over it just didnt. Fingers crossed.
