? whats the stock number for what your talking about? ive never seen anyone change sleeves in the 2.4 for a built turbo before..but then again this is a 2.2
i didnt understand a word you were saying??? the OP bored out his sleeves .02 over along with bigger piston obviously... what are you talking about?
lol sorry dont unerstand the boring out part...all i caught was something about the sleeves being to thin(.020?) and i was wondering if that was just because he bored them out(i normally dont see other built motors replacing sleeves)
darton states that you can go up to 87mm safely(600-800hp)....with a .02 over bore it will only be at 86.5mm.....should be fine......but on stock sleeves FAIL!!!! this is why my motor is getting sleeved
yeh thats where i got the 57 at..... thanks for teh input.... i was sorta in between the 60-1 and gt35r..... but the more i look i think the 60-1 is the best bang for the buck
60-1 is the **** lol. Can't wait to see how it is with the built motor (build will be done very very soon) heads out, blocks going out in a week, everything else is at my job ready to go.
hey 06blackg85ss, i was looking at your pics and can't seem to figure out where your hot side charge pipe is going. It disapears under the intake somewhere. I have a manifold hat and i still got the stock intercooling system. I'm wanting to buy the vulcan intake manifold and use a front mount, but i can't find the room for the hot side pipe to go. do you have any detailed pics on the routing of that pipe? This is my daily driver and i can't afford it to be down for extended periods of time while i'm fabbing pipes. any help would be much app.
