lol sorry dont unerstand the boring out part...all i caught was something about the sleeves being to thin(.020?) and i was wondering if that was just because he bored them out(i normally dont see other built motors replacing sleeves)

darton states that you can go up to 87mm safely(600-800hp)....with a .02 over bore it will only be at 86.5mm.....should be fine......but on stock sleeves FAIL!!!! this is why my motor is getting sleeved

The other darton kit (500-100) can actually be overbored to 90mm. ( same kit I'm getting) but I'm staying with the stock bore and compression on my motor.

90mm bore would be crazy...... it would make the car around a 2.19L with the stock stroke.....lol

It will be nice to see what that turbo does when it's actually in its efficiency range.

hey 06blackg85ss, i was looking at your pics and can't seem to figure out where your hot side charge pipe is going. It disapears under the intake somewhere. I have a manifold hat and i still got the stock intercooling system. I'm wanting to buy the vulcan intake manifold and use a front mount, but i can't find the room for the hot side pipe to go. do you have any detailed pics on the routing of that pipe? This is my daily driver and i can't afford it to be down for extended periods of time while i'm fabbing pipes. any help would be much app.

I think his hot side goes under his motor but I'm not certain. I'll show some pics soon of a simple way to intercool without a lot of charge piping.
