to AIS:
lsj full supporting mods(full exhaust, raw cai with ls4 throttle body) 2.6 pulley with 60 lbs injectors, dual pass h/e, ais stage 1 meth injection kit.
my question is: what meth to water mixture should i have to get maximum power output from my street tune?

50/50 meth/water should do the trick just fine. If you're looking more for octane boost, try 60/40, but make sure you tune for it. I'm not a whiz at this stuff, but I would assume you need to retard timing a little for that mixture. Anyone else got feedback here?

Ok. I have a stage 2 trunk mount kit. I just bought the stainless lines and the dual connection that I want for my ss/sc. I want the mix to atomize better so what size nozzles do I need for it to be effective?

the ones they give you in the kit should be fine, unless you're running two nozzles, in which case i wouldn't know. I'm assuming you are, so I would thing you would need one nozzle larger than the one they give you.

Why does it need to be below the washer tank? Its a pump, it will suck it vertically. Or am I missing something? Do they have a gravity fed pump or something?
I have a Devils own kit and I mounted mine on the fender, where the option B tank would go, basically.
I would worry about water damage if the pump is that low, unless they are completely sealed.

question for you water/meth gurus, i put some parade windshield washer fluid in which im going to assume is ~40% meth/60% water, i could and probably am wrong, and i also added a bottle of heet, im curious as to what you would estimate my ratio to be? would it be closer to 50/50 or would it be higher?
tnx

I think my meth pump just went out, it has a proper ground/power supply, fuse is fine. It just won't spray, plugged the power line directly up to the always on metal piece and it didn't spray. What should I do about this? Would AIS send me a new one? It's the trunk mount stage 1 kit.

As much as i should read through the last 15 pages, im kinda lazy so here goes. For your stage 2 kit, it states it can be ran as a 2 dimensional system using 0-5V, MAP, MAF, etc. Also it states free windows based software AVAILABLE. I'm trying to put 2 and 2 together here. Is the water meth system tuned by the included software? and if so, what would someone need to change? Do you guys offer advice and tuning help for the engine, as in if i hook up the system get it going and than scan with my HP Tuners, can i send the data log for you guys to review and adjust my timing, boost, etc?

There's a lot of factors to consider. Such as the type of fluid your spraying, how much boost, how much horsepower, type intercooler or if its non-intercooled, etc. It varies with every application. We do pre-compressor injection on a lot of dual turbo 1200+ horsepower setups which require a lot more then a 400 horsepower engine. Just varies.

On a set up like yours I would use a number 2-3 GPH nozzle pre-turbo when using a 50/50 mix or washer fluid. If using pure methanol run a number 5 GPH nozzle. Let me know if you have any other questions or how I can help.

hello AIS Ive been reading the prior posts and was curious if you could explain to me if metanol would be useful on a fully bolted NA L61, i know its effects are really worth while for FI applications but I was playing with the idea, I would need tuning correct?
