ok quick question. Does anybody know why when you flash your brights during the day it turns on both your low and high beams? I though it just flashed your highs? seems kinda stupid, I don't like the fact that my hid lows flash on and off when I flash my brights.

^^^^ ya I have that too. Many of the projectors do that. It's from the heat from the halogen bulbs. Even the sidemarkers are hot enough to cause this. The quality of the lenses are ****.

I want to smoke my tails but I'm not too confident I can produce a quality finish (smooth & shiny) so I was thinking about taking the lights apart and smoking the inside, what do you guys think?

It really isnt hard to tint your tails at all. just even coats and dont spray too much or too close or it will run. just while your in the process take the light and look at in sunlight because mine came out much darker then they looked but oh well. taking them apart would be dumb.

wheres the best place to get some projectors? saw some on ebay but i dont want my lenses cracking and what not like you guys explained.

Here are my retrofits with D2S projectors:

Probably one of the best modifications I've done to my car. It's nice being able to see when I'm driving through the mountains after skiing at night.
